COMMISSIONING OF A NEW COURT COMPLEX

The Akuapem North Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Eastern Regional Co-ordinating Council (ERCC) and the Judicial Service of Ghana commissioned a newly completed court complex on Tuesday 17th February 2026 at the forecourt of the building at Akropong. The one storey building comprises of two well-furnished court rooms, ultramodern washrooms, withholding cells for males and females and several adjoining offices. In attendance were the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie and his entourage, The Eastern Regional Minister Hon. Rita Akosua Awaitey, The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. John Evans Kumordzi, The Municipal Coordinating Director Alhaji Shamrock Abdulai Gafaru, Nananom, The clergy, Hon. assembly members and several other dignitaries. .
