AKUAPEM NORTH COMMEMORATES GHANA@69 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

As part of activities marking Ghana’s 69th Independence Anniversary, the Akuapem North Municipal hosted two exciting events on 6th March 2026 that brought together students, youth and community members in a spirit of patriotism and healthy competition. At the Presbyterian College of Education Auditorium in Akropong, brilliant students participated in the Akuapem North Municipal Junior High Schools Quiz Competition. The contest showcased the academic excellence, confidence and intellectual strength of our young learners as they proudly demonstrated their knowledge while celebrating our nation. The celebration continued at the Presbyterian College of Education Astroturf where communities gathered for an Inter-Community Football Competition. The matches promoted unity, teamwork and healthy recreation among the youth while strengthening bonds across the municipality. I commend all participating schools, players, organizers and supporters who made the day memorable. Together, we continue to nurture talent, promote unity and build a stronger municipality and nation. .
